Workshops & Creative Freedom
The KeraKult Philosophy:
No Boring Masterclasses
We believe that true creativity cannot be mass-produced. In our studio, you won't find generic classes where everyone makes the exact same cup or plate. Here, we fully support your individual artistic voice.
Every student works on their own unique project—whether it is a complex, textured sculpture or a simple, elegant bowl. We inspire each other, learn from one another, and constantly challenge ourselves. Although our classes are held in cozy groups, Roksolana and Anya tailor the guidance to each student individually. We love solving complex technical challenges to bring your wildest clay ideas to life, ensuring that we are never bored, and your work is truly one-of-a-kind.
We don't limit the amount of clay you use. However, we stand for uncompromising quality. We don’t allow sloppy work—our goal is to guide you to create pieces you will be genuinely proud to display in your home.
Our Materials & Firing
We take pride in having the largest collection of professional materials in the city:
15+ types of professional clay and porcelain from world-renowned manufacturers (Witgert, Sio-2, G&S).
130+ professional glazes (including almost the entire Amaco palette and over 30 unique Botz glazes).
High-temperature firing at 1220°C. This ensures that your finished pieces are food-safe, incredibly durable, and built to last.
How It Works: The Two-Session Rule
To complete any ceramic piece, you need to attend at least 2 sessions:
1. Session 1: Hand-Building – Shaping your piece from raw clay.
What we do: You’ll start with a lump of raw, soft clay. Guided by our hands, you’ll learn to pinch, coil, or use slab-building techniques to shape your idea into a physical object. There are no wheels here—just the quiet, meditative connection between your hands and the earth.
The details: We don't limit your materials, so you can focus entirely on the quality and design of your piece. Once finished, your work is left to dry slowly in the studio for about a week before its first high-temperature firing (bisque firing).
Duration: 3 hours.
2. Session 2: Glazing (minimum 2 weeks later, after the first firing) – Applying color, texture, and glass coats.
The Preparation: Before coloring, we focus on the details. Under our guidance, you will sand and polish away any imperfections, bumps, or sharp edges from the first firing, thoroughly cleaning the surface for a flawless finish.
The Magic: You will choose from our premium palette of over 130 glazes (Amaco and Botz), applying them with professional brushes, dipping, or pouring.
The Final Touch: Your pieces are fired a second time at 1220°C, making them completely food-safe and incredibly durable.
Duration: 3 hours (minimum 2 weeks after Session 1).
