I am a Czech/American artist with over four years of hands-on experience across a broad spectrum of clays with a specialization in porcelain. My artistic philosophy is deeply inspired by the rich tradition of Japanese pottery, a passion that has taken me to Japan to learn directly from esteemed artists in the field. My fascination with pottery stems from the challenge of pushing porcelain to its limits on the potters wheel. I craft cups & vessels as thin as possible, leaving much of the surface unglazed to showcase the raw beauty of the material, complemented by a distinctive textures.
